Washington State’s no-hitter part 2
PULLMAN, WA —
Teams works makes the dream work and Washington State baseball used that team work for a second no-hitter.
This time, the Cougs used four pitchers for a combined no-hitter on Sunday, marking the first time since 1976 that WSU had two no-nos in the same season.
And for the cherry on top, the Cougs finally got a series sweep, beating Santa Clara.
The first sweep of the season, and their first one since last season.
Cougs will head to the west-side of the state, taking on Seattle on Wednesday and continuing Pac-12 play against in-state rival Washington this weekend.
