Lewiston Supercross is back

It’s that time of year again: Lewiston Supercross is back this weekend, marking the beginning of the Inland Northwest Toyota Cup.

About 250 participants will see who’s the fastest of their group.

But the bike drivers aren’t the only one’s racing.

Crews are working as quickly as possible to get the track ready.

Because of the rainy weather, they’re behind in schedule but that’s not concerning Lewiston Supercross owner and founder Eric Christianson too much.

“The weather is coming around pretty good,” he said. “We’ve been trying to get a track built for a week and have had no luck and in the past two days. But we’ve finally got the dirt to come.”

He went on to say that the track will have it built by Friday.
