P1FCU Prep Athlete of the Week: Adrienne Washington

For this week's P1FCU Prep Athlete of the Week, we went to Asotin High School.

This athlete loves sports so much, that she can't pick just one.

Some people thrive off being busy. So much so, that their leisure time includes, hanging out with friends, and, "Ice," Asotin junior Adrienne Washington. “I do that all the time now. I just any muscles that. I'm usually always sore."

The reason why she's always sore?

Well, not only does she plays volleyball for the Panthers, she's also on the cross-country team.

But she knows where her heart is.

"I love volleyball as my main sport," Washington said.

Washington admits that she loves being busy. Her average day?

"So, I go to Walla Walla to do classes in the morning. Then I come to Asotin, and right after, usually I have a time go to my house, get my volleyball stuff.

“And right after I take my knee pads off, go for a run, do core or I'll just go home, do my homework then go for a run when it's cooler outside. Just depends when the coaches are here for cross country or not. Just normal routine. I like to do a lot of stuff."

According to Washington, her friends are shocked when they hear her schedule.

"They always tell me, 'I'm a little bit crazy.'"

But, she's just able to laugh it off.

"I just tell 'crazy is what crazy does."

Washington also plays basketball and runs track.

Despite playing four sports, she's still managing a 3.7 grade point average.
