Armen Araradian is a Reporter at KLEW News and joined the team in July 2017.
Armen is originally from Southern California, and grew up in a town just outside Los Angeles. He started his education at University of California, Santa Cruz, but transferred after just one year. He graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication in 2017, earning a B.S. in Journalism, with an emphasis on broadcasting.
At Oregon, he was a part of Duck TV, where he was the sports director and producer, covering well over 50 games. He also worked with the Pac-12 Network and ESPN while at school. His senior year as a Duck, he was an intern with Oregon’s athletic department, working behind the scenes at all athletic events. Also while in school, Armen was a part of Oregon News, where he was an anchor and reporter.
Aside from reporting, he enjoys traveling. He’s been to almost all 50 states, along with traveling to many countries abroad. Armen is also an avid sports fan, and his favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Angels.
